The liquid form is a light yellow transparent liquid, and the solid form is light yellow granules.
Applications
• Detergents : Household laundry liquids, dishwashing detergents, and industrial metal/food equipment cleaners. They chelate hard water ions to prevent scale formation, enhance cleaning power, and are phosphorus-free and environmentally friendly.
• Metal Processing: In metal pretreatment (phosphating/passivation) and electroplating processes, it stabilizes metal ions, prevents impurity precipitation, and ensures coating quality. It is also used for metal corrosion inhibition.
• Textile Dyeing and Printing: In pre-treatment of dyeing and printing, it chelates impurity ions to protect fabrics. During dyeing, it helps dyes adhere evenly, reducing color differences and unevenness.
• Agriculture: For preparing chelated micronutrient fertilizers (e.g., iron, zinc) to improve crop absorption efficiency. It acts as a pesticide adjuvant to prevent degradation of active ingredients and enhance efficacy.
• Water Treatment: For circulating cooling water treatment to prevent scaling, and in heavy metal wastewater treatment to complex heavy metal ions, reducing pollution.
