Properties:
White crystals, soluble in water and hydrophilic solvents, soluble in fatty acid lipids, almost insoluble in hydrocarbons, halogenated hydrocarbons and other hydrophobic solvents. This product is a self-inbred active monomer, containing a double health conjugated with hydroxyl group, which is prone to condensation reaction in neutral or alkaline media. It is unstable in moist air or water, easy to polymerize, and will quickly polymerize into insoluble resin when heated in the presence of acid in aqueous solution. If copolymerized with acrylate monomers, hydroxymethyl is introduced and can be crosslinked by heating alone. High quality crosslinked monomer for aqueous emulsion polymerization. The initial reaction was mild and the emulsion system was stable. Good storage stability, no need for low temperature storage.
Application:
It is mainly used as a cross-linking agent for water-based adhesive, water-based latex.
Widely used in the synthesis of emulsion adhesives and self-crosslinking emulsion polymers. And is also used for fiber modification, resin processing, adhesive and treatment agent for paper, leather, and metal surfaces, and can also be used as a soil amendment. Organic monomers can be used to prepare a variety of copolymers.

N-Methylol acrylamide (NMA or HAM)
N-Methylol acrylamide (NMA or HAM) is an important organic compound with a chemical formula of C4H7N02. It is a white powder with good solubility, especially in water. The molecular structure of N-methylol acrylamide contains a polymerizable double bond and a reactive hydroxymethyl group, which makes it widely used in polymer synthesis and chemical cross-linking.
Physical properties
N-methylol acrylamide is unstable in humid air or water and is easy to polymerize. When heated in the presence of acid in aqueous solution, it will quickly polymerize into an insoluble resin.
Chemical properties
The hydroxymethyl group of N-methylol acrylamide can undergo condensation reactions with other functional groups (such as amines, alcohols, phenols, etc.) to form a cross-linked structure, thereby improving the mechanical properties, heat resistance and chemical resistance of the material. In addition, it can also be used as a curing agent to undergo condensation reactions with other compounds (such as aldehyde compounds) for the production of curing agents
