Main Uses:

 

Properties:
- Appearance: The light yellow transparent oily substance, with a special smell.
- Solubility: It is miscible with water and can be dissolved with a variety of organic solvents.
- Stability: Polyoxyethylene castor oil is relatively stable at room temperature, but needs to avoid sunlight exposure.
Castor oil polyoxyethylene ether can be prepared by reacting castor oil with ethylene oxide under the catalysis of sodium hydroxide (or potassium). It is suitable for emulsification of various vegetable oils, mineral oils, fats,wax, etc. It can also be used as a component of antistatic spinning oil for synthetic fibers such as polyacrylonitrile, pesticide emulsifier, wool dredging agent and wool oil.

The textile industry is used as chemical fiber oil agent, the wool spinning industry is used as wool oil, Vinylon anti-static spinning oil. It can also be used for emulsification of grease wax, oleic acid and mineral oil.

The application of castor oil polyoxyethylene ether can be classified into the following fields:

1, Daily chemical and pharmaceutical fields
a. Cosmetics and personal care products: As an emulsifier and solubilizer, it can help oil ingredients disperse stably in aqueous media, and improve the texture and stability of lotion, face cream, shampoo and other products.
b. Pharmaceutical preparations: Used in semi-solid and liquid preparations to solubilize and emulsify water-insoluble drugs or other fat soluble components.

2, Textile and Leather Industry
a. Chemical fiber processing: As a chemical fiber oil agent, it improves the softness, anti-static and lubricity of fibers, prevents fiber adhesion, and is used as an anti-static textile oil agent for synthetic fibers such as polyacrylonitrile and polyvinyl alcohol. It can be used as a softening and smoothing agent in chemical fiber size to eliminate foam of synthetic size.
