Application: Organic intermediate, emulsifier in anionic coatings and wax formulations. 3-Methoxypropylamine (MOPA) is a liquid C3-Aminoether. It is used mainly as a corrosion inhibitor.
Used as antistatic agent and surfactant and advanced organic solvents.
3-Methoxypropylamine : 3-Methoxypropylamine (MOPA) is a widely used primary amine compound, mainly used as a mineral flotation agent, with higher selectivity for iron ore flotation than ordinary surfactants. In addition, 3-methoxypropylamine can be used as an important intermediate in the synthesis of dispersed dyes such as turquoise blue S-GL, and can also be widely used in metal corrosion inhibitor formulations, accounting for 5-15% of the total mass of the formulation. Corrosion inhibitors are gradually being promoted and applied in the petrochemical industry, making 3-methoxypropylamine have good application prospects.
