The product is light yellow or red-brown oily liquid; it will gradually turn into brown color when it is exposed to sunlight or air. The density of the product is 0.987-0.994g/cm3, the melting point is -57℃, the boiling point is 196℃, 156℃ (250mm Hg), 86℃ (15 mm Hg) and 79.2℃ (10 mmHg). It is soluble in the organic solvents such as ethanol, ethyl ether and chloroform while it is insoluble in the water.
