This standard specifies the requirements, sampling, test methods, inspection rules, as well as marking, labelling, packaging, transportation and storage of 2-naphthol.

Determination of moisture

According to 3.4″ Karl Fischer Method and Karl Fischer Modification Method “in GB/T 2386-2006.

The sample volume of 2-naphthol is 2g.

The difference between the two measurement results should be no more than 0.02%(mass fraction), and the arithmetic mean of the two measurement results should be taken as the measurement result.
