Hexadecyl ester is a novel, environmentally friendly, highly efficient, and non-toxic specialty plasticizer and viscosity reducer that does not contain benzene rings. Also known as 2,2,4-trimethyl-1,3-pentanediol diisobutyrate, it is widely used in various PVC paste resin products, including PVC gloves, toys, floor coverings, and artificial leather. In applications, hexadecyl ester can act as a special plasticizer, providing Chemicalbooks with better stain resistance, a drier and more aesthetically pleasing surface, increased surface abrasion resistance, improved foam resilience, and reduced scratches on the product surface. It can also be mixed with other plasticizers as an auxiliary plasticizer to enhance product strength, and as a viscosity reducer to lower solution viscosity while increasing solution viscosity stability, maintaining a smooth and aesthetically pleasing finished product surface.
