Uses: Alcohol ester twelve is a high-boiling-point, low-freezing-point, non-water-soluble diol ester. It is non-toxic, has excellent compatibility with many solvents, and is a widely recognized green solvent with broad applications. 1. Coating Film-Forming Aid: Alcohol ester twelve is an excellent coating film-forming aid. Compared to other film-forming aids, its low freezing point effectively lowers the minimum film-forming temperature of latex paint, promotes film formation, and provides excellent wet film performance. It improves the film properties of latex paint, resulting in good paint stability and thus enhancing the adhesion, smoothness, gloss, scrub resistance, anti-sagging properties, and leveling properties of the coating. Alcohol ester twelve is a non-water-soluble diol ester solvent with good hydrolytic stability. It is a strong solvent for latex polymers, exhibits high polymerization performance, and is an ideal film-forming aid. 2. Synthetic lubricants synthesized using nonanoic acid ester of 12-ol ester as a base material have particularly excellent stability, good performance index at low temperatures, and low elastic expansion index. Compared with other esters, the diester of 12-ol ester has excellent lubrication performance.
