2,6-difluorobenzamide is a white powdery crystal, m.p.143～145℃, insoluble in water

Uses:

This product is used as an intermediate for the synthesis of fluorobenzoyl urea pesticides. It can be used to produce various insecticides and acaricides such as hexaflumuron, chlorfenapyr, and diflubenzuron. It is also used in medicine and liquid crystal materials. The product is in a cardboard barrel lined with a plastic bag, with a net weight of 25kg per barrel

Production method:

It is obtained by hydrolysis of 2,6-difluorobenzonitrile. The reaction is carried out in 90% sulfuric acid at a hydrolysis temperature of 70°C.
