Uses: In pesticides, it is used in the synthesis of herbicides, acaricides, and fungicides. In pharmaceuticals, it is used in the synthesis of antihypertensive drugs. In plastics, it is used as a foaming agent for foamed plastics, enhancing the mechanical strength and thermodynamic stability of plastics. It is also used as an intermediate in dyeing, food additives, and sweeteners. It can be used in the synthesis of carbodiimide as a polyurethane additive, epoxy resin curing agent, and in other organic synthesis.
