Applications:

Can be used as a fungicide, antistatic agent, leveling agent, stabilizer, disinfectant, etc. Used for disinfection and sterilization in food processing, pharmaceuticals, textiles, oil fields, petrochemicals, water treatment, and public facilities. Used as a leveling and buffering agent for dyeing acrylic fibers, it can improve firmness. Excellent dispersibility for cationic dyes. It can also be used as a corrosion inhibitor for chemical equipment and a bactericide for oilfield water injection.

Instructions for Use: Benzalkonium chloride is generally used as a bactericide and algaecide at a dosage of 50-100 mg/L; as a slime remover, the dosage is 200-300 mg/L. If necessary, an appropriate amount of organosilicon defoamer can be added. Benzalkonium chloride can be used in combination with other bactericides, such as isothiazolinone, glutaraldehyde, and dithiocyanochemical methane, to achieve a synergistic effect, but it cannot be used with chlorophenol-based agents. After adding benzalkonium chloride, any dirt appearing in the circulating water due to the removal process should be filtered or removed promptly to prevent sedimentation after the foam disappears. Benzalkonium chloride should never be mixed with anionic surfactants such as polyacrylic acid and hydrolyzed poly(HPMMA).
