Product Description

Cocoamine is Colorless to light yellow liquid with an odor and feel similar to grease. Insoluble in water and soluble in most organic solvents.
Belonging to primary amine compounds, it has the typical chemical properties of primary amines. The amino group is alkaline and can react with acids to form salts. It can also participate in various organic synthesis reactions, such as acylation reactions with acyl chlorides, acid anhydrides, etc. The fatty acid alkyl group in its molecule gives it good surface active properties.
