Chemical Properties: Pure di-n-butylamine is a colorless liquid with a melting point of -60°C (-61.9°C), a boiling point of 159°C (48°C/1.73 kPa), a refractive index ($n_D^{20}$) of 1.4177, a relative density of 0.767 (20°C), and a flash point of 41°C. It is soluble in water, acetone, and benzene, and highly soluble in ethanol and diethyl ether. Uses: Di-n-butylamine serves as a raw material for organic synthesis. In the agrochemical sector, it is used to synthesize carbosulfan. It is also utilized in the production of dyes, rubber vulcanization accelerators (BZTP), anti-aging agents (NBC), POP polymerization catalysts, corrosion inhibitors, pharmaceuticals, and oil additives such as dibutyl dithiocarbamates (of molybdenum, lead, antimony, and zinc).
