Uses: It is an excellent organic solvent with a wide range of applications. It is mainly used as a solvent for oils and fats, an extractant, an electrolytic solvent for lithium batteries, a stabilizer for chlorine-based solvents, a pharmaceutical intermediate, and a raw material for polyoxymethylene. It can also be used as a silk finishing agent and a raw material for sealing adhesives.
