Product Description

N,N-dimethyl-p-toluidine is soluble in certain organic solvents and decomposes when exposed to light. It is an effective photoinitiator for the polymerization of acrylonitrile (AN); it can also be used to make self-gelling dental tray water.

It is used as an effective photoinitiator for the polymerization of acrylonitrile (AN). Its polymerization speed is proportional to the 1.62 power of the AN concentration and the 0.62 power of the DMT concentration. This product is usually used as an accelerator. In addition, it can also be used as an additive for the synthesis of unsaturated polyester and adhesives.
