It invades hot benzene, has micro-linked ether and disubstituted carbons, and is extremely difficult to occupy ether and acetone. Sublimes at 427℃.

Applications:

Used in organic synthesis; as an organic scintillation reagent, it is the luminescent material in scintillation counters; when mixed with biphenyl and other substances, it can be used as a heat transfer medium in nuclear power plants.

Production method: Industrially, it can be separated from the byproducts of biphenyl production, with sublimation being the most effective method.
