Overview: Polypropylene glycol diglycidyl ether is miscible with epoxy resins and features low viscosity at room temperature, making it an excellent epoxy resin diluent. It has a high boiling point, is non-volatile, non-toxic, and non-irritating, ensuring safety during handling and use. Applications: As a difunctional reactive diluent for epoxy resins, it offers good flexibility; it imparts flexibility and elongation to Bisphenol A-type resins and enhances impact strength. It serves as both a toughening modifier and an effective diluent, suitable for formulating various epoxy resin casting compounds, solvent-free coatings, impregnating resins, trickle-impregnation resins, and adhesives. It is widely used in the manufacture of large and medium-sized dry-type transformers, instrument transformers, high-voltage switch components, micromotors, capacitors, and other electronic devices, and also serves as a key component in automotive electrophoretic coatings.
