Vinyl Acetate Copolymer Resin provides perfect equipoise of chemical resistance, solubility, coating strength & thermoplastic etc. It is soluble in correspondingly strong solvent & thinner composition, for example, 50% ketone 50% aromatic hydrocarbon.

Vinyl chlorid e and vinyl a cetate copolymer formed by polymers.Its nature and purpose of the two monomers is determined by the copolymer ratio and molecular size. When the amount of vinyl ac etate is more, copolymers performance close to the homopolymerization of vinyl a cetate, has good solubility,,applied to the adhesive, when large amount of vinyl chlorid e, performance close to polyvinyl chlorid e copolymers, easy molding process, can be manufacture of various plastic materials, insulation materials. Commonly used in the coatings industry vinyl chlorid e – vinyl a cetate copolymer resin, the monomer ratio of 86:14. Such resin is white or slightly yellow solid powder was prepared by bulk polymerization method, solution polymerization, emulsion polymerization and aqueous suspension polymerization, the latter most commonly used method.

Application:

Vinyl acetate content of 5% is mainly used for film, textile bobbins accessories; content of 13% for print, tapes, adhesives, plastics printing;
