Properties:

Trioctyl amine (TA8) can also undergo quaternization to form a quaternary ammonium salt, which is used for precious metal extraction and phase transfer catalyst, and can also be used as an extractant for pharmaceutical intermediates.
Trioctyl amine (TA8) can be used as an extractant to extract precious metals such as lanthanide, nickel, cobalt, actinium, etc. in the extraction of precious metals, and is also used in the rare earth industry.
