N-Octylpyrrolidone (NOP) is a highly efficient and selective solvent applicable to the recovery of organic raw materials, the refining of lubricating oils, and as a solvent for polymers and polymerization reactions. It also finds extensive application in the synthesis of fine chemicals, such as pharmaceuticals, pesticides, pigments, fragrances, and cleaning agents.

Chemical Properties: A colorless, pure liquid. Uses: A highly efficient, safe, and non-toxic skin penetrant and absorption enhancer; also serves as a surfactant and a solvent for organic synthesis.
