    This product is prepared by water-based cyclic atmosphere steel, water-based additives, zinc pine, water-based epoxy curing agent, deionized water, etc., A, 6 two-component independent packaging, zinc content of 30%-80%, can be customized according to anti-corrosion level requirements.Three component products. 

    There is growing global interest in waterborne industrial coatings. Because zinc powder reacts with water and gives off hydrogen, water-based zinc-rich primer is difficult to prepare. Therefore, solvent-based materials are still widely used. QR Polymers has developed an innovative concept of anhydrous water-based hardener: RD-0205WH, specifically developed for this application. Zinc is dispersed in a water-free hardener and mixed with a water-based resin component containing other fillers and additives and additional water to the desired solid content prior to use. The zinc powder dispersion in RD-0205WH settles steadily and does not produce gas even after long-term storage at high temperatures.

    RD-0205WH is a separated amine adduct that is provided in 70% solid form in propylene glycol n-butyl ether. RD-0205WH is miscible with water and is designed to be used with modified or unmodified standard liquid epoxy resins as well as liquid resin emulsions and solid resin dispersions, such as E-Pos 1011W55. The recommended mixing ratio of RD-0205WH with standard liquid epoxy (EEW 190 g/eq) is 1:1.

    Another advantage of RD-0205WH is its inherent pseudoplasticity, which improves the stability and settlement-resistance of zinc-rich coatings by disperzing zinc into the water-free RD-0205WH. Water and resin components are added immediately before application.

    RD-0205WH exhibits high reactivity at ambient temperatures and forms excellent films when cured with solid or liquid epoxy resins.

    ADR labels are not required for RD-0205WH.

    Construction description

    4. Brush painting and spraying can be used for construction, and the paint should be stirred evenly before painting. If the viscosity is high, an appropriate amount of deionized water can be added, and the amount of water added should not exceed 10%, and it should be stirred while adding to ensure that the paint is uniform.

    5. Maintain good ventilation during construction, and do not recommend construction when the ambient temperature is lower than 5 ° C or the humidity is greater than 85%.

    6. Rain, snow and fog weather can not be constructed outdoors, such as construction, can be taken to protect the paint film by covering it with tarpaulin. 

    Storage and transportation

    1. The product should be sealed and stored in a dry and well-ventilated warehouse with a storage temperature above 5 ° C and below 35 ° C to prevent direct exposure to water and sunlight, isolate the fire source, and stay away from the heat source.

    2. If the product meets the storage conditions, the storage period is one year from the date of production, and the storage period can be tested beyond the storage period. If it meets the standards, it can still be used.

    3. During the transportation process, the product should be prevented from cold, rain and sunlight exposure, and should comply with the relevant provisions of the transportation department.

    Surface treatment

    1.All surfaces should be clean, dry and free of pollution, and all surfaces should be evaluated and processed according to iso8504:1992.

    2.The oil should be cleared according to the requirements of the sspc-free solvent cleaning standard.

    3.In the case of the blasting, the surface reaches the above standard, and if the oxidation is made from the blast, the surface is cleaned by the surface, and the visual standards are met.

    5.Cleaning: Clean all equipment with tap water immediately after use, and prohibit solvent-based diluent cleaning

    Notes

    1. Used as primer, it is a product with excellent anti-corrosion performance and is suitable for heavy anti-corrosion primer. The maximum coating interval depends on the quality of the exposed film, the dry film thickness is 75 microns, usually can still be coated after 6 months, but the surface has been adequately cleaned and the mechanical damage repaired.

    2. Excessive coating should be avoided, because after the aging of the thick film, the adhesion with the coated substrate will be reduced, and it should also be avoided when used as a protective primer after sandblasting

    Coating is too thick, because too thick film will affect the minimum recoating interval and handling time.

    3. Low temperature curing

    The product is a water-based system, which is not suitable for low temperature environment. It is not recommended to construct when the temperature is lower than 10C. The product will freeze below 0C and cannot be used.

    4.System compatibility

    For direct coating on standard treated steel surfaces, or on approved precoat primers.
